POLYCARBONATE CABINETS FOR AEDs
When seconds can mean the difference between life and death, these clear Protective
Cabinets are the answer for protecting lifesaving AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators).
These see-through polycarbonate cabinets allow AEDs to be highly visible while guarding
against vandalism, accidental damage and theft as well as dirt, dust and grime, unlike metal
boxes. The cabinets mount on the wall enabling the unit to be stored in a central location.
Because of the wall mount design, the cabinets do not require an additional sign to help
direct one towards the AED during an emergency. To further protect against misuse,
vandalism and accidental damage, STI equipped these units with a thumb lock and optional
alarm or alarm/strobe.
