WIRE GUARDS
STI MOTION DETECTOR DAMAGE STOPPER ®
DESCRIPTION
These super tough cages are extremely effective in reducing malfunctions and high maintenance costs
where vandalism or accidental damage is prevalent. They are constructed of 9-gauge steel wire with a
corrosion resistant polyester coating. Five sizes are available. Two sizes are designed to fit corner mount
units and three are for wall mount applications. For new build installations use STI-9745 low voltage splice
box (page 23) to easily locate wires to motion detectors.

STI SPEAKER/STROBE DAMAGE STOPPER ®
DESCRIPTION
These super tough wire guards are designed to help protect System Sensor
notification appliances SP2R1224MC and SP2W1224MC against vandalism and
accidental damage. The guards consist of tough 9-gauge steel wire coated with
corrosion resistant white polyester, which offers excellent protection. Weblike
shape helps unit take tough knocks in stride.
