STI THERMOSTAT PROTECTORS
DESCRIPTION
Molded of clear, heavy-duty polycarbonate material, these protective covers are
recommended for areas where abuse to a thermostat is a problem. Holes in the
frame allow air to circulate freely for proper operation of protected thermostats or
energy sensors. An interior wall on the frame prevents objects from entering
inside. All units have a key lock which prevents unauthorized entry. Especially
useful where thermostats are located in public areas. The device is easy to install
for either flush mount applications or surface mount installations with available
spacer. Some models are available in clear or smoke. For new build installations
use STI-9745 low voltage splice box (page 23) to easily locate wires for thermostat.

STI MOUNTING PEDESTAL
DESCRIPTION
This pedestal helps provide convenience for security
and/or access control equipment. The heavy gauge
steel pedestal can be used for: access control, telephone
entry, gate operators, parking control, card readers, push
buttons/switches, intercoms, fire access stations,
keypads and much more. Two models are available. The
STI-9779 measures 60 inches (1524mm) high and is
designed to be buried into the ground. The STI-9780
measures 42 inches (1067mm) high and is designed
with a base to mount to a concrete pad. This unit has a
mounting flange cover plate which helps protect the
four (4) mounting nuts from damage.
